The name ZeniaHub comes from two words. Zenia and Hub.
The word Zenia has several meanings:
1. Greek Origin
From the Greek name Xenia, meaning "hospitality", "kindness" or "welcoming spirit." It describes the compassion and generosity between hosts and guests, which is a perfect metophor for this community.
2. Slavic / Hebrew Interpretation
In some Slavic and Hebrew contexts, Zenia (or Zhenya) can mean “noble,” “kind,” or “well-born.”
3. Botanical Connection
It also resembles “Zinnia,” a flower symbolizing lasting friendship, endurance, and goodness, often associated with emotional resilience.
Zenia represents kindness, welcoming, and emotional connection - values that resonate deeply with what we are building.
Hub reflects our mission to bring people together, creating a central place for sharing stories, learning, and fostering mental wellness across Kenya and beyond.
Together, ZeniaHub is a welcoming community where care, healing, and human connection thrive.
